Any student who enrolls or re-enrolls at FCS for the school year is making a commitment for the entire school year. A two week notice is required when withdrawing to allow time for the spot to be filled and the cost will be added to the final bill.
In the event of financial problems or questions, please contact the preschool office right away. Our goal is to work with you and for you.
All tuition must be paid in full during the school year. Any student with an outstanding balance will not be allowed to start classes the following year. During the school year, any student with a balance more than 3 payments past due will not be allowed to attend classes and may be dismissed from FCS.
Faith Christian School admits students of any race, color, or national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
The investment of a Christian education is a financial sacrifice for all of our FCS families. We are committed to offering an excellent educational experience, and we are also committed to making FCS financially accessible to as many families as possible. To accomplish these goals our families have access to extensive financial aid and we participate in regular fundraising efforts. Most of our families receive financial aid of some kind, and we are happy to discuss these specific programs with you and review the relevant qualification requirements.
To help families with multiple children in grades K3-12 at FCS, we offer the following discounts (discount is typically applied to the youngest student): 2 children in preschool - 10%, 2 children in FCS and preschool $200
FCS has a Tuition Assistance Fund which is designated for full time students who meet eligibility requirements for financial need.
This is the most common form of aid that our families receive, and the scholarships can be up to $5,800 per student every year. There are a few tracks by which families can qualify for this aid, in addition to household income guidelines. More information can be found at the Indiana Department of Education website, www.doe.in.gov/choice.
A $50 referral credit per family is available to current FCS families. For each new family who enrolls a full-time student(s) and indicates your family name as the referral on their application(s), you will receive a referral credit on your FCS family school account. This credit will be applied after the new student has attended FCS one full quarter.
Certified Scholarship Granting Organizations provide scholarships to eligible students using funding from private donations that are eligible for a tax credit. We generally use these funds to help families who do not initially qualify for the Choice Scholarship.
These plans were originally created to encourage families to save for higher education, but they can also be used to pay for K - 12 tuition expenses. Indiana offers a tax credit of 20% (up to $1,000 per year) for contributions to these plans.
