Each year Subaru of Indiana Automotive selects a beneficiary or project based on community need that will lend a hand to children and families in Tippecanoe County. In 2012 they selected a project in cooperation with Faith Church and the American Red Cross, the SIA Safe Haven Home – an emergency shelter for families who are displaced due to fire, natural disasters, or domestic violence.
Experiencing the devastation of losing or having to flee their home can be very traumatic and confusing for families, especially those with children. The SIA Safe Haven Home will provide a safe and comfortable temporary home for families in need.
The Safe Haven Home is located on the Faith campus next to the Vision of Hope Residential Treatment Center. If you know someone in need of temporary housing, please have them call (765) 447-5900.
