Introduction to Sign Language

Class time: 6:30-8:00pm (dates listed below)

Course description: Introduction to Sign Language will help you understand basics of deaf culture, learn the ASL alphabet, and give a good working knowledge of basic vocabulary and sentence structure of sign language. This class is a good first step toward anyone wanting to get to know deaf people in their community, inviting them to church, or interpreting in church. This is a 4-week class.

B.S. Music Education - Northland International University

Nate and wife Rachel have ministered at Faith Church since 2011 and have three children (Zeke, Violet, and Ruby). Nathan has taught elementary music since 2011 and has interpreted for the deaf since 2008. Nate has a desire to bring the Word of Christ to all people, especially through music to children and through sign language to the deaf.
