Sam grew up in Mexico and is a second-generation missionary. Jamie was raised in Lafayette, Indiana and at Faith Church. After serving in Mexico City for 30 years in church planting, Sam and Jamie are planting a Hispanic Church in Lafayette, Indiana. Sam has an MABC (Masters in Biblical Counseling from Faith Seminary), is a certified biblical counselor with ACBC, and is involved in the training and certification of biblical counselors throughout Latin America.

Sam and Jamie have three grown children and 5 grandchildren.
