Welcome to PBF International! We’re a group of Americans and international students at Purdue University who want to make friends and learn more about God.
Every Friday evening, our Fellowship meets at Faith West to enjoy time together. We’re looking forward to meeting you! Our typical Friday evening looks like this:
We can provide transportation for any of our activities, including Friday Night Fellowship, Sunday morning church, conversation partner meetings, counseling sessions, and fun social gatherings. Let us know if you need a ride, or get directions if you are driving yourself.
Are you a Christian looking for a church home in America, or just interested in learning more about Christianity? Join us at Sunday Morning worship at Faith Church!
Have you ever had the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Valentine’s Day? Do you like hiking, camping, visiting parks, climbing rocks, or exploring underground caves? Would you like to visit Chicago, Indianapolis, or Louisville?
At PBFi, you will always find new and fun things to do. From games nights in Americans’ homes, to trips to fun destinations, we are always looking for new ways for International Students, like YOU, to experience as much of America as possible. You don’t need to be a member of PBFi to join - just submit your contact information to get in touch or join us on Facebook.
Want to practice speaking English with an American friend? Join our 1-on-1 Conversation Partners program to grow your conversational skills!
You will be paired up with a native American to discuss material based on Christian topics – or, if you would like, you can pick a book of the Bible to read together. Many times, we have seen friendships formed through this program last long after students return to their countries.
Meetings take place at the Faith West Community Center every Sunday from 9:30-10:45 am.
Sign up to be paired with an American family who you can join for meals, trips, parties, and many other activities. Most importantly, you’ll share in conversation, build friendships, and learn what American culture is really like.
Why are charity, love and forgiveness held in such high esteem in America? Why is there such debate about abortion here? Why is the individual’s good seen as more important than the good of the society in this country?
The key to understanding American culture is knowing its Christian roots and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Let us know if you’d like to learn more!
Are you having trouble adjusting to life in America? Are you struggling with school work, making friends, or deciding if you've made the right decisions? Are you lonely or depressed?
You don’t have to bear it alone. We have adult counselors ready to talk with you any time of the day, any hour of the day. Our counseling is free and completely confidential.
Whether you want to get connected with our large group and activities, need a friend, seek counseling, or would like to learn more about Christianity, we’d love to talk with you!
