Without a team of dedicated volunteers the costs associated with providing services to hurting girls would be astronomical. Volunteers are used to help with doctor and dentist appointments, grocery shopping, clothes and shoes shopping for the residents, Girls Night Out activities, organizing the Blessing Closet, and many other important tasks.
Daily Aide Volunteers assist around the house during regularly scheduled weekly shifts. For example, some ladies volunteer one day a week for 4 to 6 hours supervising the residents with the interns and staff. Other volunteers help with a certain task, like Blessing Closet organization or weekly grocery shopping.
Special Skills Volunteers are called on when a special need exists that they are uniquely equipped to fill. Some special skills volunteers provide transportation for the girls to doctors appointments. Others serve as volunteer nurses. Still others help teach some of our Application Classes. Others help provide housing for minor children while their mother is participating in the program.
If you are interested in serving at Vision of Hope please complete our volunteer application. A background check is performed on all volunteer applications. Volunteer training is scheduled at your convenience.
